Treasurer: Gillian O’Connell

Hi! I’m a bio major from Kansas City, pursuing a career somewhere in the medical field (eventually!), and currently conducting molecular biology research at DHMC. On campus, I am a member of the Dartmouth Committee on Standards and the Rockefeller Center-based group Dartmouth Roots, in addition to serving as Treasurer for Sigma Delt.

House Manager: Delainey Ackerman

Hello! My name is Delainey and I’m majoring in Computer Science Modified with Digital Arts and minoring in Film Studies. I’m from Denver, Colorado and grew up loving a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, soccer, rock climbing, sailing, and ultimate frisbee. As of right now, I’m interested in going into animation or some sort of graphic design/special effects! Sigma Delt has provided me with a wonderful space on campus where I am constantly surrounded by independent women who have the rare ability to stand up for their own ideals while listening and respecting differing ideals of others.

House Manager: Michaela Conway

I’m a History Major, NAS Minor and a pre-med. I’m from a small town in upstate New York called Voorheesville, with a population smaller than Dartmouth! I play rugby for the DWRC and enjoy hanging out with kids in the Upper Valley. Fun Facts: I once at an entire double XL pizza by myself, and have a double XL t-shirt to prove it!

Sisterhood Chair: Bergina Francois

Screen Shot 2014-10-02 at 10.37.47 PMHi everyone! I’m so excited to take on the position of sisterhood chair starting this year! I come from the great state of Rhode Island and I am a French major as well as an Education minor. I love working with kids and I use the phrase “be my friend” several times a day, and unfortunately find that my personality matches that of New Girl’s Jess Day. Interpret that as you will.

Brouck

Alumnae Chair: Allie Brouckman

I’m from Oakton, Virginia just outside of DC. At Dartmouth, I’m a Biomedical Engineering major, with a side interest in British history, and I play rugby. Sigma Delt has introduced me to an incredible diversity of women both within the house and within the greater Dartmouth community, and I am so inspired by my sisters!

BridgetL

Programming Chair: Bridget Lynn

I’m Bridget Lynn, Sigma Delt’s Programming Chair. I’m from Red Bank, NJ and am the second of four children (plus our dog Murphy!). At Dartmouth I’m a Psychology major and Spanish minor. Aside from Sigma Delt, on campus I’m involved in various peer mentoring groups, research for the psych department, and volunteering with Aspire, a group that works with children with autism.

Philanthropy Chair: Laura VangScreen Shot 2014-04-29 at 9.24.08 AM

Hi! I’m Laura and I’m thrilled to be Sigma Delt’s Phil Chair for 2014-2015. I hail from Memphis, Tennessee and study Engineering at Dartmouth. On campus, I dance with Sugarplum, work at the Tucker Foundation, and take frequent naps in Thayer. I’ll be happy come home from my Engineering FSP to trade the heat of Bangkok for the cooler climate of Hanover in the fall, and I’m even more excited to return to the wonderful, crazy, thoughtful, spontaneous group of women at Sigma Delt!

Allyn

Scholarship Chair: Meaghan Allyn

Hi everyone! My name is Meaghan Allyn and I’m proudly serving as Sigma Delt’s scholarship chair for 2014-2015! I’m originally from a super small town in upstate New York (Skaneateles), on campus I’m a modified geography major and neuroscience minor. I’ve loved getting to know the amazing, diverse, wacky women in this house- my sisters have encouraged me to try out for the Vagina Monologues, participate in dance groups, and reflect meaningfully on campus issues (all the while perfecting my pong abilities). I also love hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with my family!

Social Chair: Ashley Cohen

Ashley is an AMES major who wishes she was from Disneyland. In addition to being one of the Sigma Delt social chairs, she enjoys pursuing rigorous athletic endeavors, maintaining a high level of sarcasm and wit, and preserving her internet anonymity.

MollyR

Social Chair: Molly Reckford

Born and raised in Short Hills, New Jersey, Molly has never thought of herself as a “sorority girl.” She loves motorcycles, her pet bird, rowing on Dartmouth’s women’s varsity team, and traveling. She studies government and psychology, and is embarrassingly bad at pong. She’s very proud of making the social chair job more eco-friendly by driving a hybrid, despite some good-natured teasing from her peers. She was a winter pledge to Sigma Delta, and is extremely happy to be part of the house. She spent her off-term as a volunteer english teacher in Nablus, Palestine (West Bank), but is hoping for a less exciting career in a cooler climate.

SuttonH

New Member Welcomer: Sutton Higgins

I’m Sutton, one of the new FGMs as well as one of the rush chairs! I’m originally from Wayzata, MN and I’m majoring in Biomedical Engineering with plans to go to medical school post-graduation. I am so excited to welcome all of the 17s into Sigma Delt this upcoming fall and winter, both during rush and pledge term. I have been so lucky to be a member of the wonderful group of women that makes up Sigma Delt – the drive, energy and love of the sisters of Sigma Delt have been one of the best parts of my Dartmouth career to date.

kristenR

New Member Welcomer: Kristen Rothe

Hi! I’m Kristen Rothe, one of the awesome FGM trio. I’m a Psychology major and Biology minor from Morris Plains, NJ . To say I’m excited to be a FGM is an understatement. This house has meant a lot to me in terms of my growth and happiness here at Dartmouth. Being a member in a house full of strong, motivated, and goofy women inspires me every day. I can’t wait to welcome all of the awesome new pledgetables with Sutton and Meredith!

MeredithS

New Member Welcomer: Meredith Shaw

Hi! I’m Meredith, a History major and Hispanic Studies minor from the suburbs of Chicago. The relationships I have formed through Sigma Delt have rocked my Dartmouth experience — these passionate, thoughtful, and wacky women have provided me with a space where I can become my best self. Every pledge class invariably changes the dynamic and direction of the house, and I can’t wait to help our newest members learn, grow and make this place their own!
